For entry to the MMus Composition course, you must apply via UCAS Conservatoires. This service allows you apply to more than one conservatoire and track the progress of your application online. There is a one-off fee of £26.50 to use UCAS Conservatoires.

The UCAS Conservatoires Institution Code for the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is R59 and the Course Code for the MMus Composition is 802F (intensive) or 803F (full time).

We will continue to accept applications after the closing date, but they will be treated as late. Please contact our Admissions Team before submitting a late application to check whether we still have vacancies.
For entry in September 2022, all candidates will be required to submit a portfolio in support of their application. Portfolios should be submitted by Monday 18 October 2021.

There is an audition fee of £63.

Please note that only applicants who apply by the closing date and submit their portfolio by 18 October 2021 will be considered for a scholarship.
