Production Manager - Hourly paid, fixed term contract

Grade F: £23.61 per hour

We are seeking multiple dynamic and experienced Production Managers to join us in the delivery of production activity across the college for 6 weeks, ideally 2nd November – 11th December.

We are looking for professional experience in production management within theatre, live performance or related creative industries, with a passion for developing the next generation of production arts practitioners.

Production Manager – Key Responsibilities

As an hourly paid Production Manager at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, you will:

• Deliver the Richard Burton company’s productions safely, efficiently and professionally.
• Coordinate schedules, venues, staffing, resources and budgets from planning through to performance.
• Work closely with creative teams, technical staff, students, visiting professionals and suppliers.
• Support students to gain practical, professional experience during productions.
• Manage production budgets, purchasing and resources.
• Ensure health and safety requirements, risk assessments and safe working practices are followed.
• Contribute to departmental planning and the College’s collaborative, innovative and student-focused approach.
