Paul Brown

Paul studied Stage and Event Management at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, having previously pursued a career as a teacher. He now works as a stage manager, tour manager and production manager across comedy, theatre and live events. He retains strong links with the College, working as both an academic tutor and Production Supervisor.

Paul is in demand as a tour manager for some of the UK’s best-loved stand-up comedians, working with artists including Ed Gamble, Phil Wang and Chris Ramsey. He recently completed Greg Davies’ 90-date tour, which included major venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo, Edinburgh Playhouse and Bristol Hippodrome, as well as ten arena shows including Wembley. In January 2026, he was tour manager for the Taskmaster Live US tour, including two nights at the iconic New York Town Hall.

His theatre work includes Company Stage Manager for three pantomime seasons at Buxton Opera House and Production Manager for productions including Sitting by Katherine Parkinson at the Edinburgh Fringe.  

Paul has tour managed a number of major live podcast productions across the UK and Europe, including Off Menu Live, The Blindboy Podcast and My Dad Wrote a P****, which became the first podcast to sell out the Royal Albert Hall in June 2018.

He was Assistant Tour Manager for Shagged. Married. Annoyed at London’s O2 Arena in November 2021, which at the time was the world’s biggest live podcast show.

With podcasts increasingly seen as a major live entertainment format, Paul is proud to have been part of some of the most significant touring productions in this space.
