Charlie is a freelance Stage Manager and show caller for theatre, puppetry, dance and circus. She has experience working across the roles of Company, Deputy and Assistant Stage Manager.
She has toured internationally with a range of shows, to venues including St Ann’s Warehouse in New York, the Craiova Shakespeare Festival in Romania, Figurteatret i Nordland in Norway, Neuss Globe Theatre in Germany, and the Chapiteau de Fontvieille in Monaco.
Charlie has worked extensively with Emma Rice as part of her theatre company, Wise Children, and has made shows with Bristol Old Vic, Theatre Royal Bath, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Orange Tree Theatre and Unicorn Theatre. She regularly works with Cirque Bijou, a Bristol-based circus company that produces large-scale immersive private parties and provides parades and spectacle shows for Camp Bestival.
Charlie is the recipient of the John Lavender Award for Drama from the University of Bristol.
Charlie is currently working as Deputy Stage Manager on the Royal Shakespeare Company and Unicorn Theatre co-production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Rachel Bagshaw and Robin Belfield.
