Biography

Kevin has worked extensively in freelance stage management roles across theatre and live events in the UK and internationally. As Company Stage Manager, he has toured throughout the UK and taken productions to the West End, as well as to Hong Kong and Australia.

In 2019, Kevin became Company Stage Manager at Sherman Theatre, working on all in-house productions as well as with visiting companies. Having previously worked for many years as a freelance Production Supervisor at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, he joined the College as a permanent Production Supervisor in 2022. He continues to work in the industry, stage managing theatre, orchestral concerts and events.

Expertise

Kevin is an experienced stage management professional with a strong track record across major UK theatre productions and National Theatre Wales projects. Kevin’s career highlights include working with Michael Sheen on The Passion of Port Talbot; we’re here because we’re here (Jeremy Deller / National Theatre / 14–18 NOW); transferring The Hunting of the Snark to the Vaudeville Theatre in the West End and on to Sydney Opera House and Arts Centre Melbourne; and National Theatre Wales’ City of the Unexpected.

Notable Achievements

Kevin is an Honorary Associate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and his work has been recognised for both individual and team contributions to stage management:

  • Honorary Associate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (2018)
  • Special Recognition Team Award winner at the National Stage Management Awards (2024), for work with National Theatre Wales
  • Individual Award nominee at the National Stage Management Awards (2013 and 2018) for The Hunting of the Snark (West End and UK tour)
  • Twice shortlisted for Team of the Year at the National Stage Management Awards (2011 and 2012) for The Passion(National Theatre Wales)
  • Recipient of the John C. Reilly Memorial Prize, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (2010), for exceptional teamwork and support of others
