Biography

Liz has worked as a freelance stage and event manager since 2008. Her wide-ranging experience includes roles as Company Stage Manager, Playhouse Events Stage Manager, Stage Manager, Deputy Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager and candle technician.

She has toured extensively throughout the UK and has worked as a Company Stage Manager in the West End. Liz has also worked widely at Shakespeare’s Globe, across both the Globe Theatre and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. After working as a freelance supervisor at RWCMD, she took up a permanent Production Supervisor role in 2022.

Expertise

Liz has extensive experience across theatre and live events, with a strong focus on stage management across both large-scale and site-specific work.

Her career includes collaborations with leading artists and companies, supporting productions in the UK and internationally. She brings a broad skill set across stage management disciplines, from rehearsal room support through to performance and touring environments.

Notable achievements

Liz has worked with Dame Eileen Atkins on Ellen Terry with Eileen Atkins, and with Sir Mark Rylance on Shakespeare Within the Abbey at Westminster Abbey.

She has been Stage Manager for Emilia at Shakespeare’s Globe, Deputy Stage Manager on I Think We Are Alone with Frantic Assembly, and Company Stage Manager for 2:22 A Ghost Story at the Criterion Theatre, London.

She has also worked extensively at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in a range of stage management roles across both the Globe Theatre and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
