Biography

Originally from Swansea, Alice trained as an actor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She worked professionally in theatre, television and radio for over a decade before training on the prestigious MA in Voice Studies course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with a Distinction.

Alice is passionate about empowering students and their acting work through voice practice. She is particularly interested in approaching teaching from an Intersectional Feminist perspective to allow for greater access and inclusivity within the voice studio.

Expertise

Before joining RWCMD, Alice worked extensively as a freelance Voice, Speech, Text and Dialect coach at many of the UK’s leading actor training institutions including Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Rose Bruford College and Emil Dale Academy. Alice also worked as a production coach and dialect coach with professional actors. She is a regular course tutor for West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company and has previously been a mentor and workshop facilitator for Open Door.
