Biography

Brendan graduated from the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in 2004 with London Fields Are Blue a short he wrote and directed, and which won awards both at home and abroad, including the Screen Directors Guild Award for best short film. He subsequently worked in TV Drama directing content for both BBC and Channel 4 as well as continuing to develop original scripts. He has written or co-written over six features, including Tonight is Cancelled and Get Up & Go which received commercial release as well as playing at international film festivals. Brendan continues to write and direct.

Expertise

Having served on a number of international film juries and panels he has taken a keen interest in performance and education leading to the development of a stand-alone course for young directors at the NFTS.
