Biography

Verity is an award-winning Casting Director working across stage and screen. She is a full member of the CDG and CSA, and serves as the in-house Casting Director for Tall Stories.

Her recent screen credits include Casting Director for King & Conqueror (BBC), Shelter (Black Bear), and UK Casting on The Hunger Games: Sunrise on The Reaping.
Recent stage work includes Young Persons Casting for The Hills of California (Sam Mendes & Jez Butterworth) and Oliver! (Gielgud Theatre).

Additional screen work includes UK Casting for Nine Perfect Strangers S2 and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, as well as Co-Casting Director for The Agency (101 Studios). She also oversaw Young Persons Casting on The Magic Faraway Tree and Rose’s Baby.

As an Associate Casting Director, Verity’s credits include The Creator (20th Century), The Salt Path (BBC Films), The Beautiful Game (Netflix), The Book of Clarence (Legendary), HALO (Paramount+), All the Old Knives (Amazon), The First Lady (Showtime/Lionsgate), Stephen (Hat Trick/ITV), Riviera (Archery Pictures), Berlin Station (Anonymous Content), and Fate: The Winx Saga (Netflix).

In theatre, Verity has cast for the Globe, the Royal Court, Southwark Playhouse, Chichester Festival Theatre, and the Almeida Theatre. Having originally specialised in young persons casting, she has cast children in numerous West End and screen productions, including Enola Holmes (Netflix), The Pursuit of Love (BBC), Mrs Doubtfire The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre), Frozen The Musical (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), The Sound of Music (Chichester Festival Theatre), Leopoldstadt (Wyndham’s Theatre), Medea (Soho Place), Small Island (National Theatre), The Ferryman (Royal Court and Gielgud Theatre), School of Rock (UK & International Tour), and Beauty and The Beast (UK Tour).
