Penarth Chamber Music Festival

The Penarth Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with a day of concerts and events at RWCMD including guest artists Rebecca Evans, Carlo Rizzi and celebrated actor Samuel West. Artistic Directors Alice Neary and David Adams have been bringing chamber music of the highest quality to Penarth since 2014 and are thrilled to be able to extend this to the audience at RWCMD. There is a star studded line up of musicians to perform the unique and thrilling programme which includes the world première of Huw Watkins String Trio, a mini Schubertiade, the closing scene from Strauss Capriccio with a newly commission narration by Sir David Pountney and finishes with Britten’s evocative and moving Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings starring James Gilchrist and Ben Goldscheider.
