The Penarth Chamber Music Festival’s celebratory day opens with a mini-Schubertiade, featuring the songs Auf dem Strom and Der Hirt auf dem Felsen (Shepherd on the Rock) with festival patron Rebecca Evans and James Gilchrist alongside Ben Goldscheider, Robert Plane and Simon Crawford Phillips. A performance of Schubert’s wild and virtuosic Fantasy in C completes the programme with incredible young Hungarian violinist Ágnes Langer.
