Annual giving

Supporters who give annually to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama gain behind-the-scenes access, while helping us to nurture artistic talent, encourage diversity and provide training opportunities to those who are exceptionally gifted, whatever their economic or social background.

Connect

If you would like to help ensure that the students of the Royal Welsh College continue to get the best possible training experiences and to be inspired by working with the very best professional artists, you can do so by becoming a member of Connect.

Connect is a donor scheme designed to enable you to get behind our students and deepen your involvement with everything that goes on here.

This is the College’s main fund that supports the students’ public performance opportunities and showcases in Cardiff, London and New York as well as their interactions with leading artists who visit and perform at the College. This regular engagement with those already working in the arts is invaluable in preparing students to enter the profession successfully once they graduate.

Chairs' Circle

The Chairs’ Circle is a philanthropic scheme which brings together a group of generous individuals who care about nurturing future generations of artists, and who want to help the College to advance its mission to connect and transform communities through the arts. All monies raised from The Chairs’ Circle will be invested into materialising the priorities set out in our 5-year strategy, which will enable us to maximise our training offer to our students and help us to wholly embrace our role as the National Conservatoire of Wales.

We are seeking donations of £5,000 per annum and, as a thank you, members of the Circle will be given opportunities to attend special events and hear first-hand from the College’s leadership team about how we are shaping the future of the College.

Thank you to our current members:

  • Hugo and Elinor Blick
  • John Derrick and Preben Oeye
  • Richard Lloyd-Owen and Patricia Cabrera
  • Roger Munnings CBE and Karen Munnings
  • The Lord Rowe-Beddoe DL and The Lady Rowe-Beddoe
  • Peter Saunders OBE
  • Atlantic Property Development PLC (Babs Thomas)
  • Mr and Mrs Vyvyan and Valerie Ferrer
