Nefeli Simpson

Hi! I’m Nefeli, your VP International for 2026–2027, and I’m a third-year student on the Stage Management and Technical Theatre course.

Growing up and living in Cyprus before moving to the UK for university meant that I encountered many culture shocks once I arrived, studying in a different language being only one of them. However, I will never regret my decision to study abroad, as it has opened my eyes to so much beautiful new culture, amazing new people and lifelong friendships.

My goal is to make sure every international student feels welcome and supported. No student should feel excluded because of where they are from, and our Student Union will make sure of that!

When I’m not at College, I enjoy reading and watching films. I also love cooking, and find that it’s a great way to connect with my Greek heritage.
