Atmospheres 2025: Coleddu/ Sustain

Coleddu is a work for amplified instruments and live electronics which explores collective identity and organic composition using open scoring and improvisation, shifting focus away from the composer and onto the ensemble. Various musical influences, from jazz and folk to contemporary classical music, are brought together with a DIY/punk ethos and an anarchic attitude to towards music making, that prioritises spontaneous decision making over hyper-specific predestination.
