Regional partnership centres
We are continually developing our work with the under-18s to ensure we offer the best way for young people across Wales to explore the performing and creative arts, and their associated careers, in an inspiring environment.
A Wales-wide network for young talent
Across Wales, there is already excellent work happening in schools, youth theatres, music services and community settings. Our role is to support and enhance this and bring partners together. Opening our new partnership centres across Wales over the next year will ensure we are a central part of a crucial network of support and opportunities, reaching out and engaging with young people wherever they are in the country. This means building on what’s already working, while helping it grow.
Schools, Further Education colleges and community organisations will be connected through three regional centres, working together to create more opportunities in music and drama. Each centre will be supported by a local coordinator, helping link young people with both local activity and national opportunities.
Our work will be based across:
- North Wales
- Mid Wales
- South Wales
Each centre will bring together the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama with local venues, colleges, youth theatres, music services and schools.
This joined-up approach means more chances for young people to take part and progress, whether they’re just starting out or already developing their skills.
