Severn Point, the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama’s halls of residence, is a fully managed secure site just ten minutes’ walk from the College.
The College is able to guarantee a room in the halls of residence for all new students (undergraduate and postgraduate) beginning in September and who apply before the accommodation deadline.
The accommodation at Severn Point is arranged in flats of six rooms and includes provision for purpose built bedrooms designed for students with disabilities. Along with a high quality fully fitted kitchen and living areas, all the en suite bedrooms have telephone and data points. There is also a separate block exclusively for international and postgraduate students.
The rent is £132.00 per week inclusive of bills for the academic year 2020/21. You are advised to sign a 43-week contract so that the room is yours during the Christmas and Easter vacations – no need to move all your belongings home!
- All bills included
- Laundry facilities
- Accessible for wheelchair users
- High speed broadband and Wi-Fi
- Bike storage
- Post service to take delivery of parcels and signed-for items
- Personal contents insurance included
- 24-hour security and electronic entry
Severn Point is managed by Unite Students (formerly Liberty Living). If you have been offered a place to study at RWCMD, please don’t apply to Unite Students directly – the rent will be more expensive. Instead, email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 029 2039 1321.
For students who prefer a house instead of halls of residence, the College can help find good quality private accommodation.
