Olly Cooper

Hi, I’m Olly. I’m a third-year Stage Management and Technical Theatre student, and I’m looking forward to taking over as your VP of Events and Societies.

My aim as VP is to bring new life to the SU by putting on more live events and creating a busy calendar of activities. With my experience in live events, I’ll be able to produce events with real production value and bring the technical expertise needed to make them the best they can be.

We all have very busy uni lives, so I want to create a space where everyone feels welcome to take a break from the workload and have fun. I also want to give all students a platform to perform and showcase their creativity, whether that’s through bands, societies or something completely different.

I’m looking forward to being a voice for students and making sure everyone’s ideas are heard, helping make the SU a great and enjoyable place for everyone.
