Biography

Laura graduated from RWCMD in 2001 with a BA Hons degree in Theatrical Studies (Design). Since graduating Laura has been in high demand as a freelance scenic artist, props maker and in set construction in many well-known theatres across the UK

Laura has a keen interest in making in many different disciplines from scenery, props, puppets and high-end traditional leatherwork.

Expertise

Laura’s areas of expertise are mainly in three dimensional scenic elements where form and texturing are required in recreating realistic surfaces and naturalistic scenery.

Laura is also well known for her work in puppetry and mask making especially where moving parts and mechanisms are required and thrives on making props which involve problem solving.

Notable Achievments

Lauras work has appeared on stage across the world with theatre companies such The Watermill theatre, National Theatre Wales, Cameron Mackintosh Productions just to name a few. With TV and film work for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Searchlight Pictures, Walt Disney Studios and Warner Bros. ​​​​​​​
