Biography

Caradog Williams is a freelance accompanist and vocal coach based in Cardiff. Following a degree in Music at Oxford University, he studied Piano Accompaniment at the Royal College of Music under Roger Vignoles and John Blakely, where he was an Associated Board Scholar.

Expertise

Caradog’s work in Cardiff has included being a repetiteur for Welsh National Opera, the Wales International Academy of Voice and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He has extensive experience working with singing teachers, language coaches and conductors of opera; these have included Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Richard Bonynge, Carlo Rizzi, John Fisher, David Syrus and many others.

On the concert platform, recent highlights include recitals with Sir Bryn Terfel in Cheltenham, Bergen and Oslo; Caradog has also partnered Gwyn Hughes Jones, Rebecca Evans, Elin Manahan Thomas and Sir Willard White.
