Biography

Lauren is a singing teacher, voice coach, and musical director from Wales. She holds a BA (Hons) in Music from Bath Spa University, where she trained in classical piano, jazz piano, and musical direction.

Before completing an MFA in Professional Voice Studies at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Lauren worked professionally as a musician and musical director, leading over fifty theatre productions and cabarets across the UK. She is also a certified Vocal Health First Aider and has achieved Estill Figures of Proficiency.

Expertise

Lauren teaches across the BA and MA Musical Theatre cohorts and is a recent addition to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama faculty. She has over a decade of experience teaching at degree and master’s level, having held positions as a singing and voice lecturer at institutions including Bird College, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Bristol School of Acting, Bristol Institute of Performing Arts, Wales Academy of Voice and Dramatic Arts, Bath Theatre Academy, and Bath Dance College. She has also been a guest lecturer at Arts Ed and LAMDA.
