Brendo Santana

Hi, I’m Brendo – your VP International for 2025–26 and a second-year postgraduate oboist.

After completing my undergraduate studies in Brazil, moving to the UK pushed me out of my comfort zone and into a completely new culture – which turned out to be a great experience! That said, I know first-hand how challenging it can be to settle in as an international student.

I want all international students to feel supported and included – and to make sure there’s no divide between international and UK students. Let’s make the Student Union a place where everyone feels represented, no matter where you’re from.

Outside of college, I love animals and gardening, and I spend a lot of my free time catching up with my family back home in Brazil.
