Nina Martin

I’m in my third year of BMus Composition and am excited to be your SU Vice President of Music this year! Although I am a composition student, I am also a passionate performer-composer, recently winning the Howarth Single Reed Prize on Saxophone.

I’ll be responsible for representing students across the music department, and my focus is to facilitate connection between composers and performers that will continue into the professional world, encourage creative musical responses to the climate crisis, and improve the experiences of neurodiverse musicians.
