Heini Hughes

As SU President at RWCMD, I represent the student body in a range of meetings, conferences and other events. In this role, I prioritise student health and wellbeing while encouraging students to balance working hard with enjoying social events that suit them.

Before stepping into this role, I graduated from the BMus (Hons) course as a classical soprano with a First Class Honours degree in 2026. Alongside my studies, I work as a freelance singer and have developed a passion for making classical music more accessible to modern audiences. I look forward to continuing this work throughout my career.
