Biography

Dudley Phillips is a self-taught musician working in the areas of jazz, ‘world music’ and contemporary song writing. He later won a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music

Notable Achievements

Touring includes Bill Withers (Two European tours), Billy Cobham (UK tour), Cedar Walton, Tom Scott and John Hendricks (live at Ronnie Scott’s). He has toured the world several times over and played at most major international festivals.

Films include Anja Garbarek (soundtrack for ‘Angela’ [Dir Luc Besson] with Anja Garbarek) and Robert Wyatt (The Robert Wyatt Story).

He jointly won the Jazz FM ‘Live Performance of the year’ in 2018 with Orphy Robinson group.
