Asher Penny

Hi, I’m Asher, a BMus flautist, and I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of Welfare and Inclusion Officer! I’m deeply passionate about equal access to education and resources, and I’m a committed advocate for queer and trans rights.

In this role, I aim to help shape a college environment where everyone feels safe, seen, and heard. I want student welfare and EDI to be more than a policy; it should be a lived experience for all.

My goals include improving communication between students and Student Services, expanding the diversity of visiting speakers and tutors, and empowering students to share their experiences. Above all, I’m here to listen, learn, and work collaboratively to ensure that my work truly reflects the needs of the student body.
