The Design for Performance department is celebrating a double win as TK Hay and Rose Revitt are awarded two of the four awards at this year’s prestigious Linbury Prize. The College also represented half of this year’s finalists, with six of the twelve graduates working with the four production companies.

TK Hay will design An Adventure for Octagon Theatre, Bolton, having competed against fellow RWCMD grad Aline Jeffery. Rose Revitt will be designing Dr Korczak’s Example for Leeds Playhouse, where she won against fellow RWCMD graduates Debbie Duru and Elin Steele.

Harry Pizzey was a runner up with Birmingham Royal Ballet.

'The Linbury Prize is the most important single event for our graduates.

Every two years this provides a golden opportunity for our students to test their ability against the very best Design students from across the UK.

To have another six finalists and from that two of the winners is an enormous boost for the staff and students from the design department.'
Sean CrowleyDirector of Drama
