Online Spring Masterclasses
Our masterclasses are designed to give young people aged 11-18 an opportunity to develop skills in areas of the backstage industry. They include practical activities as well as Q&A’s with the tutors, who are specialists in their area.
This Spring we’ll be holding our masterclasses online via password-protected Zoom sessions:
- Morning sessions are an ‘Introduction’. Suitable for anyone who wants to find out about the day-to-day of working in the specialist area, the roles you can do and the process of supporting a production.
- Afternoon sessions are ‘Exploring’. Suitable for those with some experience in this specialist area (perhaps you have already attended our YPPA events, are studying the subject at school, or have worked backstage on productions previously). Designed to extend your knowledge and expand your skills.
Sessions are two hours long and cost £10. You are welcome to join us for both the morning and afternoon sessions if you wish at a discounted rate of £15.
