David Baxter

Until recently, David was the General Manager of the Borough Theatre, Abergavenny and was previously the Head of Arts Active - the education, community and audience engagement unit at St David’s Hall and the New Theatre, Cardiff for many years.

He has worked as a practitioner, producer and manager of community and education arts projects in a variety of contexts and previously worked for Welfare State International, The Royal Court Theatre and the London International Festival of Theatre. He has served on the boards of a number of community arts organisations and is a graduate of the National Leisure and Culture Forum Leading Learning Programme.
