Biography
Jessica Ji is a set and costume designer and design technician at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. As a graduate of the College’s MA Design for Performance program, she supports the design department through teaching digital design skills and assisting with college productions. Her professional work spans theatre, puppetry and Film/TV, with designs presented at the Camden, Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. She was awarded Best Production Designer for her work with the BBC’s It’s My Shout.
Expertise
Jessica’s expertise includes set design for theatre, puppetry and model making. She specializes in digital design for performance, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Fusion 360, and Adobe Creative Suite. Her practice also explores cross-cultural and feminist narratives through visual storytelling.
