There are two stages of the audition process for the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre and MA Musical Theatre. First round auditions will take place online. Recall auditions will take place in person at RWCMD in Cardiff. 

We use Acceptd as our portal for uploading audition recordings, portfolios and documents.

For entry in September 2026, all candidates will be required to submit or attend an audition in support of their application. You should select your preferred audition method on your UCAS Conservatories application form. Once you submit your UCAS Conservatoires application, you should create an acceptd profile to enable you to submit your recorded audition or schedule an in-person audition via Acceptd .

For entry in September 2026, all candidates will be required to submit a portfolio in support of their application and attend an online interview. Once you submit your UCAS Conservatoires application, you should submit your portfolio via Acceptd   by Monday 27 October 2025.
