Royal Welsh College announces The Foyle Opera Rara Collection
This week, together with Opera Rara, the Royal Welsh College has announced the acquisition of The Foyle Opera Rara Collection, a major collection of historical research material relating to 19th-century Italian opera and a unique resource of international significance for scholars and performers.

The College was able to make this acquisition as a result of a generous gift from The Foyle Foundation.
'We’re hugely grateful to the Foyle Foundation in allowing us to provide The Foyle Opera Rara Collection with its new home in Wales at the Royal Welsh College, which will be available for academic and public access later next year.
