WNO Fauré Requiem

Conductor Ryan McAdams leads a programme of reflection and remembrance. Hear Welsh National Opera’s Chorus and Orchestra perform Fauré’s moving masterwork Requiem, with Fflur Wyn (soprano) and Gareth Brynmor John (baritone). WNO Chorus will be joined on stage by singers from RWCMD.

The first half of the programme features Stravinsky’s joyous Pulcinella Orchestral Suite. Completed in 1920, this lively adaptation of Pulcinella celebrates the ballet’s most memorable orchestral themes.

WNO Orchestra continue their exploration of Igor Stravinsky’s music in an operatic season that also includes Oedipus Rex.
