Discover the College
The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is delighted to be attending this year's National Eisteddfod, y Garreg Las.
Representatives from the College will be at the RWCMD stand throughout the week, and we'll also be taking part in a range of activities and performances across the Maes, including the Encore Stage, The Pavilion and Mas ar y Maes.

Visit our stand between 10am - 5pm to find out more about studying at the College, taking part in workshops as an individual or as a school, explore our What's On events programme, and discover how you can support the national conservatoire of Wales. There will also be a free prize wheel and raffle!

Celebrating 850 Years of the Eisteddfod
Marking the 850th anniversary of the first Eisteddfod, our Scenic Arts students have been working with community groups across South and West Wales, using their specialist craft skills to create an array of decorations for this important anniversary.
Bringing together local schools, the Windrush elders and Scouts groups, the project celebrates Welsh culture, heritage and creativity through community collaboration.
2026 honours: Green Robes
Llongyfarchiadau to RWCMD graduates Rhiannon Pritchard, Meinir Jones Parry and Gillian Elisa Thomas on receiving the prestigious Green Robe Honours at this year's Eisteddfod.
RWCMD grads making their mark on the Maes
Two RWCMD grads are behind the new look of the Maes this year, ahead of Eisteddfod y Garreg Las in Llantwd.
As Head of Operations and Production, Angharad Davies is leading the site build for the first time, overseeing everything from Y Pafiliwn and stages to water, power and access.
Cordelia Ashwell, founder of Decordia Events, has helped create the site's new look, working with local businesses and students from the Garreg Las area to design spaces including Llwyfan Llên and the Tebot Hud, with the Preseli Mountains providing a spectacular backdrop.
'Working on the Eisteddfod has been a special experience and has made me prouder than ever of my Welsh heritage,' said Cordelia.
Angharad added: 'Our aim is to create a Maes that functions well, looks fantastic, and gives everyone a very warm croeso.'
