RWCMD Brass Band: 'Contrasts in Brass'

The programme celebrates the richness and evolution of the British Brass Band tradition through three contrasting yet connected works. Horizons looks forward with sweeping melodies and brilliant textures. Concerto for Horn showcases both virtuosity and lyricism, placing the soloist at the heart of an expressive and cinematic musical landscape. Completing the programme, Spectrum by Gilbert Vinter brings colour, energy and innovation, pushing the boundaries of brass writing.
