Raghu Dixit Trio

The Raghu Dixit Trio brings together three long-time collaborators – Raghu Dixit (vocals, acoustic guitar), Sanjay Kumar (guitars, bouzouki) and Akshay Ganesh (violin) – in an intimate new presentation of Raghu Dixit’s music.

Drawing from nearly three decades of songwriting, the repertoire moves between reimagined favourites from Raghu’s earlier albums, new compositions and unreleased material. Stripped back to voice, guitars, bouzouki and violin, the arrangements leave space for the songs to breathe and for the musicians to respond to each other and the audiences in the moment.

Raghu Dixit has spent more than two decades taking his music from Mysuru to audiences around the world, performing in over 50 countries and on stages including those of Glastonbury, WOMAD, the Southbank Centre and BBC’s Later… with Jools Holland.
