Thea Callaghan

Blwyddyn graddio:

Soprano Thea Callaghan studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance before joining the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she is completing her Postgraduate studies and will be joining the David Seligman Opera School in September. She was the 2024 winner of The Elias Singing Prize for Soprano. Recent engagements include Don Giovanni (chorus and cover Donna Anna) at the RWCMD, The Turn of the Screw (the Governess) and Rusalka (Woodsprite 1) RWCMD Opera Scenes, Conservatoire Concerts Baroque Festival 2025 (soloist), and A Chorus Christmas (side by side with the WNO).
Thea is grateful for her studies to be supported by the Mayflower Theatre Engage Bursary, the Women’s Careers Foundation, and the Ted and Val Yates Scholarship.
