Welsh Soprano Clara Greening currently studies at The David Seligman Opera School supported by the Sybil Tutton Opera Award and Karl Daymond Bursary Award. A regular on the competition platform, Clara won the 2025 Dorothy Davies’ Ingram Prize, 2025 Dorothy Watkins Prize, 2024 Eileen Price Prize, as well as being a finalist in The Janet Price Prize 2025 and runner up in Llais Llwyfan Llanbed 2024.
Recent engagements include: Tonina Prima la musica, poi le parole RWCMD, Soloist for an evening of song with Bryn Terfel “Pan Ddawr Nos”, Soprano Soloist for The National Youth Brass Band of Wales under Erik Janssen, Gretel Hänsel und Gretel Farncombe Opera.
Passionate about supporting communities through music in Wales, Clara performs regularly with Male Voice Choirs to raise funds for charities such as Tenovus, Prostate Cymru, Forget Me Not, and Parkinson’s UK. Alongside performing, Clara works as a peripatetic singing teacher, a volunteer and music assistant for the Good Vibrations Parkinson’s Chorus, and is a Choral Leader at the Aloud Charity for Only Kids Aloud.
Clara’s studies at RWCMD are supported by the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship, The Karl Daymond Scholarship and the Eileen Price McWilliam Award, in memory of her sons Alastair and David McWilliam.
