The Learned Society of Wales Fellowships reflect the importance of a vibrant cultural life, celebrating the depth and breadth of Welsh leadership and creativity, research and innovation. They acknowledge the excellence and importance of this work and its contributions to life in Wales and beyond.

Its Fellows bring together some of the most distinguished leaders and academics in their fields from across the globe, united in their desire to use their expertise to support Welsh society.

It's a huge honour to be awarded a Fellowship by Wales’s National Academy, alongside such a distinguished and diverse community of leaders from across the arts, humanities and sciences.

The Society’s commitment to advancing knowledge, innovation and creativity, and to highlighting the vital importance of a vibrant cultural life for everyone, is close to my heart.

It reflects the work we do every day at RWCMD as the National Conservatoire of Wales, nurturing artistic excellence, sharing the arts and co-creating with our communities across Wales. ‘
