Tara Camm is a Welsh soprano from Swansea studying at the David Seligman Opera school. She has had many different performance experiences, her most recent playing Tonina in the David Seligman Opera School’s production of Prima la musica e poi le parole, Helena in A Midsummer night’s dream and Sister Genovieffa in the Berlin Opera Academy Summer festival’s production of Suor Angelica. She is a fluent Welsh Speaker and advanced in conversational German. She has performed in many different concerts such as ‘Music for the movies’ and ‘Zimmer Vs Williams’ at the Swansea arena, A celebration of Welsh music at the Llandaff Cathedral festival and many cultural nights at ‘The spirit of Wales singers’. She also had the honour of singing the title song of Sir Bryn Terfel’s celebration of Welsh music concert ‘Pan Ddaw’r Nos’ and ‘A night with Bryn Terfel’ at the Aberystwyth University Music festival.
Tara’s studies are supported by the Dame Shirley Bassey Scholarship, the Ryan Davies Memorial Trust and the Eileen Price McWilliam Award, in memory of her sons Alastair and David McWilliam.
