Niamh Pragnell Toal

Scottish Mezzo- Soprano Niamh Pragnell Toal, studied both her Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She completed her Masters with First Class Honours and was awarded the Mabel Linwood Christopher Award and The Keynote Artists Prize.

Recent engagements include : Mrs Nolan, The Medium (RWCMD), Sister St Charles, Dialogues of the Carmelites (RWCMD), Pan Ddaw'r Nos : An evening of song with Sir Bryn Terfel (RWCMD) and Burns Night Recitals (Cardiff Country Club)

Niamh is the recipient of The Janet Price Opera Prize, and her studies are also generously supported by The Countess of Munster Musical Trust, the Caledonian Society Scholarship and the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship.
