Niamh Pragnell Toal

Scottish Mezzo-Soprano Niamh Pragnell Toal is in her final year of the Master's course and graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama BMus in 2023. After completing her Master's this summer, she will be going to the David Seligman Opera School in September. In 2024, Niamh was a recipient of the Mabel Linwood Christopher Award. Recent engagements include Pan Ddaw’r Nos: An Evening of Song with Sir Bryn Terfel (RWCMD), Sister St Charles Dialogues of the Carmelites (RWCMD) and Chorus for Don Giovanni and La Bella Dormente Nel Bosco (RWCMD). Opera Scenes Roles include Dorabella Cosi Fan Tutte, Begbick Mahoganny and Junon Orpheus in the Underworld. Niamh's studies are generously supported by an RWCMD Scholarship, Leverhulme Arts Scholarship and a Caledonian Society Scholarship.
