Beth Lewin

Year of graduation:

Soprano Beth Lewin is a graduate of the University of Birmingham and Postgraduate Vocal Studies at RWCMD, where she was a semi-finalist in the Sir Ian Stoutzker Prize, finalist in the Janet Price Opera Prize and recipient of the Dolan Evans Lord Rowe Beddoe Prize.

Previous engagements include: Zerlina, Don Giovanni (RWCMD), Carmina Burana (Leamington Spa Bach Choir) John Hardy’s ‘redmoonsong’ premiere, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ & ‘La bella dormante nel bosco’ (all RWCMD); ‘Il Signor Bruschino’ (South Birmingham Opera).

Beth's studies are supported by a Help Musicians Sybil Tutton Opera Award, the Eileen Price McWilliam Award, in memory of her sons Alastair and David McWilliam and the Ted and Val Yates Scholarship.
