Cambridge Companions & Visual and Performing Arts collections D M Access over 2000 e-books on a range of music and drama-related topics: ‘Film, Media, Mass Communication’, ‘Drama, Theatre, Performance Studies’, ‘Music’, and ‘Art’. Daniels’ Orchestral Music Online M An orchestral music finder tool, providing access to information on more than 13,700 works by more than 2,100 composers. The advanced search allows you to search by duration, instrumentation, chorus type, and soloists. You can also search opera arias, duet choruses, and more, using the opera excerpts finder.
Digital Theatre Plus D A collection of films of leading British theatre productions, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and teaching and learning resources.
Drama Online D A collection of drama texts featuring theatre lists by Methuen Drama, the Arden Shakespeare, Faber and Faber and Nick Hern.

EThOs D M EThOs is a British Library resource allowing you to search over 500,000 UK doctoral research theses online.

JSTOR Arts & Sciences D M Access to online articles from various music journals, including some relevant content for drama students.

Medical Problems of Performing Artists D M Peer-reviewed research papers covering health issues related to actors, dancers, singers, musicians and other performers.
Medici TV D M Medici TV provides access to 3,500 musical works filmed from 1940s to the present day, and over 150 live events streamed every year from the world’s most prestigious venues. It also contains 3,000 films including concerts, operas, ballets, documentaries and master classes. 
Music Online: Classical Scores Library (ProQuest Alexander Street) M A series of four volumes of music scores spanning all major classical music genres and time periods, from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Click on ‘My Collections’ and select the link to ‘Music Online: Classical Scores Library’ to browse the collection.

National Welsh Instrumental Music Resource M A searchable database of Welsh keyboard music from the 18th to 21st centuries, bringing together information held in several archives and libraries, plus links to information about Welsh composers, recordings and other useful sources. This resource has been created by Zoë Smith, pianist and Head of Postgraduate Programmes (Music) at RWCMD.
Naxos Music Library M An extensive listening library of classical music tracks.
Naxos Music Library Jazz M Comprehensive collection of over 100,000 jazz tracks.
Naxos Video Library D M Performing arts video library including operas, ballets, documentaries, live concerts.
NKODA M NKODA is a sheet music subscription service that can be accessed via an app on your phone, tablet or desktop. Please follow the instructions to set up your access via our RWCMD subscription.

Oxford Handbooks Online (Music) M The music collection of Oxford Handbooks provides access to current scholarship in all areas of music research including historical musicology, ethnomusicology, theory, pedagogy, dance and technology. Please search by keyword.
The Oxford History of Western Music M The online version of Richard Taruskin’s 5-volume history of the evolution of Western music.
Oxford Music Online M Full text access to the Grove dictionaries of Music and Musicians, Opera and Jazz; Oxford Companion to Music; Oxford Dictionary of Music.

RILM Music M Comprehensive international music database including abstracts and full text from a number of journals, plus other useful resources.
RISM M Online catalogue of music primary sources (manuscripts (published 1600-1850) or printed music (published pre-1900), writing on music theory, and libretti) available worldwide.
RISM UK Catalogue M Online catalogue of music manuscripts ca. 1600 – ca. 1800, and printed music before ca. 1800 held in UK Libraries. This catalogue is a subset of the main RISM online catalogue.

Sage journals D M We subscribe to a wide range of Sage journals including: British Journal of Music Therapy, Psychology of Music, Journal of Research in Music Education, International Journal of Music Education, General Music Today, Clothing and Textiles Research Journal.

D M Online access to this peer-reviewed journal, which publishes research on performance training by practitioners, academics and creative artists.
Theatre Record D Online access (from 1981 onwards) to this theatre publication that reprints in full all the national drama critics’ reviews of productions in and out of London, with full casts and credits as well as production photographs.
Theatre and Drama Premium (ProQuest Alexander Street) D Collections of play texts, audio and video performances, documentaries and a wealth of additional theatre-related content. Select ‘My Collections’ to browse the available resources or search by keyword.
The Times Digital Archive, 1785-2012 D M Search more than 200 years of The Times newspaper online in full-text facsimile format. The archive contains information on multiple subjects, including business, humanities, political science and philosophy, as well as coverage of all major international historical events.
Twentieth Century Music M Online access (from 2004 onwards) to this journal disseminating research on all aspects of music in the twentieth century.
