About
Moments is the new production from Theatre Re, the team behind The Nature of Forgetting and BIRTH.
Weaving personal stories with theatrical imagination, Moments deals with the key midlife experience of losing a parent, while also becoming and being a parent to the next generation. This is a show about making a show, unveiling the magic behind creating a theatre production.
Through their personal stories of becoming parents and reaching mid-life, the director, composer, lighting designer and sound designer are all on stage, guiding us through the thought process and creation of everything that is happening as it happens. It starts off as a TED talk, then it falls into the world of performance with their trademark style of accessible physical storytelling with music at its heart.
