Sona Jobarteh

Africa’s first female kora virtuoso, social activist and visionary ambassador for the griot tradition Sona Jobarteh, makes her first visit to Cardiff to promote her 5* album Badinyaa Kumoo. As vocalist and dazzling instrumentalist, she leads her superb band in music which combines the traditional sound of her Gambian heritage with jazz, blues and R&B/soul.
