Phaedra Ensemble & Laura Jurd: Gavin Bryars @ 80

Culminating in a large-scale performance of his iconic work Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet, Phaedra Ensemble’s retrospective of the beloved British composer Gavin Bryars opens with a performance of his latest string quartet. The quartet is also joined by acclaimed jazz trumpeter Laura Jurd performing a new work written by her for the ensemble.
