Poppy Damazer

Mezzo-soprano Poppy Damazer studied for a MMus at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she won The Dorothy Davies Ingram Award and The Harlequin Agency Prize. Recent engagements: Dido Dido and Aeneas (UEA Opera), Chorus Agreed (Glyndebourne), Jeunes filles La Belle Hélène (New Sussex Opera), Carmen, Baba the Turk The Rake's Progess and Florence Albert Herring (RWCMD Opera Scenes). Poppy's studies are generously supported by The Eileen Price McWilliam Scholarship in memory of her sons, Alastair and David McWilliam, The RathUnderwood Scholarship and The Girdlers' Company Charitable Trust Scholarship.
