Conor Cooper

Irish Bass-baritone Conor is currently studying for his MMus in Classical Voice Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Geoff Moses and Alex Jenkins. Conor is a nurse by trade but has entered the conservatoire setting in order to pursue his passion for music. Recent roles include the Drunken Poet from Purcell’s Fairy Queen, Swallow in Britten’s Peter Grimes in RWCMD Opera Scenes as well as Monsieur Javelinot in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmélites with the David Seligman Opera School. Recent engagements include singing as the bass soloist for Swansea Bach Choir in their performance of Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle.
