HoWang Yuen

Hong Kong born baritone HoWang Yuen studies opera at the David Seligman Opera School at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His studies at the College are supported by the Leverhulme Trust Arts Scholarship and a RWCMD Scholarship. He is also a graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

HoWang’s recent engagements include Silent Opera’s revival of their award-winning opera Vixen at the Hong Kong Arts Festival, the role of Sasha in Welsh National Opera Youth Opera production of Cherry Town, Moscow, and the contemporary chamber opera The Monster of the Gao Village at Tête à Tête Opera Festival.
