Acceptd
We use Acceptd as our portal for uploading audition recordings, portfolios and documents.
Auditions for all Music courses will be conducted via recording.
We use Acceptd as our portal for uploading audition recordings, portfolios and documents. If you already have an account, you can login here or start by creating a free account. Each uploaded video file should not exceed 4GB. Acceptable file formats include MP4, MPEG, MPG, MOV, AVI, WMV, M4V, FLV, WEBM, MKV, M2V. Alternatively, you can upload a URL link or links to YouTube. There is useful guidance on the Acceptd support page.
To prepare your recording/portfolio, follow the Audition Guidance on our website – www.rwcmd.ac.uk/audition-guidance – or the Resource section on Acceptd.
Please upload your audition recording/portfolio into the Acceptd portal by Monday 23 October 2023.
To start your Acceptd profile, select the relevant course and programme. Please ensure you input your name and UCAS ID in exactly the same format as your UCAS Conservatoires application and fill in the Application Information.
The Supplemental Material Section will ask how you would like to submit your recording/portfolio. Please attach the relevant file and upload directly or either provide a URL from YouTube or a similar platform. You can submit your performances in one recording or separate recordings.
Please verify all your uploaded files and preview your application information thoroughly before pressing ‘Submit’. You cannot make changes to the application once you have submitted it.
A message will be displayed confirming that you have successfully submitted your application. We will not be able to acknowledge receipt of individual recordings by email.
Please note that we may use the Acceptd message service to contact you, so please remember to add getacceptd.com as a safe sender in your email settings.
