NEW is the Royal Welsh College’s weeklong showcase of new writing, which returns in 2018 for a fifth exciting year. The College’s Richard Burton Company will premier four new plays in Cardiff before transferring to London’s Gate Theatre.

Previous seasons have launched plays such as Alistair McDowall’s Pomona and Luke Norris’ Growth on to the national stage.

We will be collaborating once again with Sherman Theatre, Paines Plough and the Royal Court Theatre – producing new plays by Charley Miles (Blackthorn), Isley Lynn (Skin a Cat) and Stuart Slade (BU21) and Katherine Chandler (Bird).
